A surprise with every step
The hotel's location was ideal for exploringOviedo, just a short walk from the center and nearby transport hubs. The staff were super friendly, providing us with great recommendations for local dining. The spacious room, had excellent water pressure in the shower-a good way to start the day.
Breakfast was often crowded, and getting coffee took longer than expected due to just one machine being in operation. The noise from the street was noticeable at times, especially in rooms facing the front.

Nice place for a honeymoon with free wi-fi. Reasonably large and fashionable room with a magnificent view from the window. Good beds, perfect after a long day in Oviedo. Location close to Next to train, railway and bus, and Spain. Also, next to a taxi rank.

The hotel is very correct for a 4 star hotel, for me it is a 3.8 star, it is comfortable and very central for transportation, next to the Bus Station and near the Train Station. The rooms are spacious, there is a fridge, heating and air, and a good bathroom. Almost the only negative is that it is on a main street and very busy, and you can hear the noisiest cars at the intersection, - there was no problem, but I think you can't open the window at night to sleep. For those who sleep lightly, it can be a nuisance, but it's not too much noise, just background noise. For the rest, I liked the hotel.

Lack of coffee and tea facilities in rooms!!! Aging furniture and decor show signs of wear!!! Inconsistent water temperature in showers detracts from the experience!!! No USB ports in rooms is surprising!!!

hotel is of quite a high standard. Worthy of a four-star. Our room was a suite, had large windows with beautiful views of the city of Oviedo. only problem that was not welcome, is that the rooms need a good wash, sofa of the room I would not have it even in the storage room of my house, room smelled pretty bad, as when the circuit of the air conditioning system is dirty. carpets in the hallways were kind of worn out, giving it a somewhat old look. Although it seems a bad criticism, it is not, since that has not prevented that the stay is very pleasant, they let us put the car before time and take it out quite late from the check out. speed of the room service and quality of the food was really good. I would come back to this hotel without hesitation, if those little problems were solved, then I would be close to ten.

friendliness of the reception, ease of access to the car park from the street, location, next to the centre and away from the hustle and bustle. room was spacious, wide, had a large window with beautiful views. bed was comfortable, sheets were impeccable, 2 pillows were firm and comfortable and blankets were in good condition. noise of the street was not heard and sound of the neighbours was quite muffled.
Cleaning, like in all hotels (at least the 4* hotels, are the ones I can afford): there was dust on the coffee table, bedside tables; there was a fingernail on the sink; hair on the bathroom floor; remote control and phone, with dirt and grime, like everywhere I've been. Do that. You can't imagine how many hairs of different textures, colours and sizes I find, as well as black dust. It looks like I'm missing the vacuum. I have to say that I went down to comment on it and they immediately went back up to clean. I think we must redefine the concept of cleaning in hotels and not just clean what you see (change the towels, paper roll and that's it). I think it is basic to vacuum and clean the remote control and phone, with a disinfectant product. Obviously, cannot be done if you pay 3 euros per room to the people in charge of this work. You can't show off even two stars in hotels if they don't work on cleaning in a thorough way, is the basics: dust, hair and disinfection. Otherwise, we are talking about large-scale hotel fraud. No matter what the complaints are: the administration always agrees with the employer, big or small. No one talks about this general lack of hygiene because it is more important to travel and tell people how well we have done and how cheaply. Even though we are playing the system, cafeteria: we didn't have breakfast included, we couldn't even have a coffee with toast because there was no cafeteria, so we had to pay 10 euros for breakfast. It's weird that in a 4* hotel there is no cafeteria service.

The hotel Tryp is part of a chain, but when we arrived we were made to feel welcome and the receptionist was very helpful. There is good underground parking although it is a bit expensine. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of fresh fruit, and access to the old part of the city was only a 10 minute walk.Should you want to use the train service then the station is only 5 minutes walk. The room was a good size and at night, despite being close to the bus and railway stations, it was fairly quiet.

Very clean and modern room.
I was shocked that a four star hotel would charge for internet. This was real downer.

Spacious rooms, with helpful staff always ready to assist. Breakfast offered a refreshing variety of salads, ensuring a healthy start to the day. Inconsistent water temperature in the shower was a bit of an inconvenience, and the lack of coffee-making facilities in the room was disappointing. Parking options are available but can be tricky to locate.

We loved the family room, and the bunk beds for the kids.
I would have preferred a single master bed vs. two twins pushed together.

Location, few meters from the bus station and center.
facilities are still the same, they're old, they need to be renovated. Two elderly people who were in Oviedo for medical check-ups travelled, they were asked to keep their (small) suitcase until they left the clinic as they did not know the fixed time at which they would finish and bus left at 8 pm. Well, on other occasions, since we go there often, they have not put any problem; today they had to go and get the suitcase, without fail, before 6:19 p. m. So they had to leave the clinic in a hurry to pick it up. If they hadn't left at that time, they would have had to leave the clinic to go get it? I think it's embarrassing and even more so when it's two elderly people. even if they had to pay anything for it, it's a lot to ask, Of course. from now on I don't think we will stay in this hotel again, If you don't take care of your customers. you lose them,

The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage, and we loved the underground parking that was easy to navigate. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection, perfect to fuel our days exploring water adventures like rafting nearby. Staff were super friendly and gave us great tips on where to eat around town.
One downside was that the bathroom's doorstop posed a risk when getting out of the shower, which could have been hazardous.

The location of the hotel is great, close to the beautiful center of Oviedo but still comfortable to arrive if you have a car. Our room was really big and very confortable for a family travelling with young kids. Kids even had a surprise in their beds on our arrival!
